David Wheaton

Meet David Wheaton, a real estate agent with years of legal experience and a great, supportive attitude. David has been a successful real estate agent for ten years and is also a non-practicing attorney. He decided to become a realtor because he wanted a career in which he could make people happy. David believes that his past work as an attorney has made him a better realtor as it gave him an in-depth understanding of contracts and negotiations. This experience allows him to focus his energy on advising his clients, marketing homes and commercial properties, building relationships, and closing deals.

“There's an enormous emotional component to being a real estate agent,” David says. “You need compassion and a sense of understanding for the client's needs to help people navigate the process of buying or selling a home.” He thinks of himself as a counselor for his clients, providing support as they navigate the buying or selling process and applying his knowledge of real estate to get his clients the best deal possible! 

David feels that his experience in the legal field has given him other advantages as well. Detail oriented in his terminology and calm under pressure, David can cut to the heart of complex and stressful situations. 

David decided to join Revol Real Estate because he had heard great things about them. “All of the brokers and agents are extremely professional, and they have an amazing support staff!” David was also impressed by their connections within the real estate community, including strong relationships with preferred lenders and title companies. David lives in Baltimore with his wife, Amanda, their two young sons, and two dogs. He loves being a father, playing basketball, and taking hikes. In his spare time, he likes to visit family and friends throughout the world and take advantage of all the fantastic food (Bring on the Crab Cakes!) and natural beauty that Maryland offers.
